What you will generally need

- A passport valid well beyond your intended stay
- An application registered in the Application Portal with the fee paid
- Travel insurance covering the whole Schengen area, minimum €30,000 (visa)
- Documented accommodation and funds for the whole stay
- An offer of employment on UDI's form, with pay matching the collective agreement (work)
- Admission and documented funding in a Norwegian account (study)
- Biometrics given in person at a mission or a Service Centre for Foreign Workers
